3….2….1….HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Julie and Jake’s New Year’s Eve wedding at The Historic Post Office in Hampton, VA.  It was such a great day with tons of laughter, singing, sweet moments, and more laughter!! Julie and Jake are seriously so sweet and these two love to laugh! And dance!! I love how they just break out into a twirl or a nice slow dance at any given moment!

When I met with Julie and Jake last spring for their engagement session, I knew they were going to be so great to work with! They are so down to earth and easy going.  Even in the midst of the hustle and bustle of their wedding day, Julie was so calm and you could tell she was enjoying every moment of the day.  Their first look was on of the sweetest of the year.  Their smiles and laughter are so infections that before you know it you are laughing with them!

Julie’s something blue was this gorgeous ring! Love!  Julie had her sweet junior bridesmaids help with her jewelry.  It was such a sweet touch!  I love how silly and thoughtful these two are! Julie kept a journal of their 2018 adventures and gave it to Jake as a wedding gift.  How amazing is that??  They can’t help but dance!
Such a fun idea for a guest book!!  Loved seeing Ryan and Will!!  3….2…1…. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
