One of my favorite parts of shooting a wedding is photographing all those tiny details the bride and groom clearly put a ton of thought and energy into. I mean, I am all about capturing the love and the first kiss and all those tender moments, but who can forget about the cake, table decor, accent lighting and stationary? Am I right?
Katy and Joe’s wedding – held last weekend at The Water Table – was a veritable feast of such details, and I had an amazing time discovering and photographing it all! Now, I have throw in one of my favorite details…and that is that Joe is from the UK. He had SO many family and friend fly over to be here for their wedding. Hearing all of those beautiful English accents was music to my ears! I especially loved when the Best Man gave his toast, and even though I I may not have understood much of it everyone else did and was laughing hysterically. It was great!
So this was totally one of the highlight of the night! Katy’s sister Mary took to the stage with the Jangling Reinharts for a killer rendition of Werewolves of London. So AWESOME!! This reception was seriously one of the most fun one I have witnessed. There were times I had to get creative to capture the fun because the dance floor was PACKED!
Cheers, you two, and congratulations on officially tying the knot! Enjoy your honeymoon together and the many years that follow!
