There’s something about a North End engagement session in Virginia Beach that I just LOVE!! Its hard to put my finger on what specifically what it is, so I’ll just say it’s the whole vibe of that area.  I love the beautiful beach homes, the narrow side streets where people are coming and going from the beach.  Things just seem to slow down the minute you cross the line into the North End.

So it was natural when Lindsey said they wanted start their session at First Landing that I got super excited!! But what we didn’t take into account was that it was the first weekend since school got out and the beach was PACKED! So on to plan B! We stayed at First Landing and utilized the beautiful trails and gorgeous light.  After that we went further north to my favorite little spot!! Its so secluded and gorgeous!! I just love it there!! And I love my dear friend who shares her gorgeous yard with me!!

Lindsey and Justin are just the sweetest and I was so thrilled when they contacted me to shoot their wedding this fall! Justin’s mom is a preschool teacher and taught my oldest son many years ago!! I feel like I have known then for longer than I actually have, thanks to social media and being friends with Justin’s mom 🙂

When I saw this pot of succulents I knew I HAD to get a few shots of Lindsey’s beautiful ring in them!!  Oh you beautiful pink hydrangea you!!  Congratulations Lindsey and Justin!! I can’t wait to see you at The Water Table this fall!!
