Well hello there!! I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July and an awesome weekend!! I am super excited to share Dana and Matt’s Chrysler Museum of Art wedding with you!! The lovely couple were married there last weekend on a gorgeous summer day!  All in all it was a truly perfect day! The sun was shining all day, and even though it was rather warm, every one did really well! Together, Matt and Dana completely compliment one another.  He is always smiling (as is Dana!) and loves her deeply, and quietly.  They are a perfect match and I am just bursting with joy that I get to document their love! For the girls, the day started off at Dana’s parents home in Virginia Beach.  Dana was surrounded by so much love from her girls and her mom! Everyone was so sweet and had the best time! Dana gave them all gifts and there were several tears as they read sweet notes from Dana.  After the girls got dressed it was Dana’s turn.  Everyone was in awe of Dana when they saw her! She was jaw-dropping and her positivity was more radiant than ever.  This became so apparent when she was surrounded by her bridesmaids as they were all just so excited to be a part of the day! Then comes the groomsmen.  They guys got ready at The Main in Downton Norfolk.  Misty had such a blast with them! They were surrounded with laughter and fun all day and I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding day! Oh, and check out Matt’s socks! Very cool!
These smiles are EVERYTHING! This was probably one of my favorite first looks ever.  They were just SO excited and you could just feel it!  So just a little back story on Dana and Matt.  They met during job interview when Matt interviewed Dana! She left the interview thinking he was really cute and soon a friendship struck up.  Their first date was in the middle of a snow storm, when Matt took here driving through the snow in his Jeep.  Dana knew from the start that Matt was something special.  He treated her like no one else ever had and made her feel so special.  Fast forward a few years and the two took a trip to Boston.  It was there, as they were getting ready to head out to dinner, that Matt proposed.  After questioning Dana several times about whether or not she had everything, and her insisting that she did, that he said “what about this?” Of course THIS was a gorgeous engagement ring.  The happy tears flowed and they spent the evening celebrating!  Check out this exit!! I LOVE the streamers!! So fun and eco friendly!!
Dana and Matt, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you! I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure! Thank you a million times over for being so incredible! Your joy and kindness are contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day! Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness!
