It’s no secret that these are interesting times we are living in. And planning a wedding for many couples has been really difficult. With many having to postpone, and sadly even cancel their weddings, it goes without saying that Erin and Ryan were so thrilled that their wedding was able to take place last weekend in Virginia Beach. The two were married on an absolutely gorgeous day at The Lesner Inn. I first met Erin and Ryan last month for their engagement session. Right off, I knew we were going to have fun and that their wedding was going to be awesome! They are super laid back and so kind. I loved spending time with them!
Erin and her girls began their day at an Air BnB in Norfolk, while the guys weren’t too far away at a hotel.
All the shades of blue!! My FAVE!!
Erin is a beach girl! So when she said she wanted to go to the beach for the wedding party and couple portraits, I did my best to make it happen. We ended up at the Lynnhaven Fishing Pier and it was a beautiful location. Many beachgoers cheered and congratulated the couple as we took pictures.
Sunset at Lesner does not disappoint!! So happy we could sneak out of the reception or a few minutes and grab some more pictures of Erin and Ryan!
I find that one of the best things about small weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day. I am beyond happy that everything worked out for Erin and Ryan! Cheers to you both!!
