There’s nothing like winding down a busy season with a gorgeous fall engagement session! Nikki and Brennan chose one of my favorite locations, First Landing State Park, for their session last month. The fall colors were bursting the day we were there and everything was just perfect!!
Nikki and Brennan are such an easy going, fun couple and I enjoyed spending time with them! These two met when Nikki was in middle school and Brennan in high school! You could say they kind of grew up together since their families were friends and spent lots of time together. Though, Nikki says Brennan didn’t notice her until she got her braces off :).
Earlier this year Nikki and Brennan took a trip to Maui with Brennan’s family. After a long day of hiking the Road to Hana tail they started to make their way back. Brennan kept asking to take pictures at various locations – which isn’t out of the norm for him, so Nikki didn’t suspect anything was coming. But this day he just HAD to find this one more waterfall and beach area to take pictures at. After asking some locals where to find it they all headed in that direction. With her coconut drink in hand, Nikki thought they were posing for a normal picture at this gorgeous beach. Brennan handed the camera to his sister and they were getting into their pose when Brennan looked at Nikki and just said “Babe….”. Nikki immediately began to cry. After Brennan’s sister yelled at Nikki to answer him she of course say YES!
Nikki and Brennan get married next fall at The Oyster Farm at Kings Creek! With as much fun as these two have together I know their wedding is going an amazing day!! I can’t wait!!
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!!
