In case you haven’t heard, there’s this little thing down south called the Southeastern Conference.  It’s kind of a big deal.  We REALLY like our football down there! When Julie first contacted me a few months about about shooting their wedding, she of course mentioned that she and Jake went to the University of Georgia and hoped that wouldn’t be a problem.  Y’all do know I love my Auburn Tigers, right? And there’s just a little bit of a rivalry there between Georgia and Auburn…wink wink 🙂 When it comes to SEC schools, Georgia is definitely high on my list of rivalries I am ok with, but if it were that OTHER school in Alabama we’d have to talk.  😉

But seriously, I am so glad I get to work with this adorable couple!! Spending a few hours with Julie and Jake was like spending time with old friends.  We enjoyed walking around the Norfolk Botanical Garden on a gorgeous spring afternoon, and then headed to East Beach to get some more shot with their sweet dog, Sally.  They are seriously the sweetest and cutest couple!! Julie’s laughter is contagious and Jake knows just how to get her laughing!

I can’t wait to ring in 2019 with them at the Historic Post Office in Hampton, VA!! I know its going to be a magical night!!  Meet Sally!! She is super sweet and LOVES to zoom!!! She had fun running around the beach, making Julie and Jake laugh when she ran from the waves, and posing for some pics for me!!  I can’t wait to see these two dance the night away at their wedding!!  Julie and Jake, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to document this momentous occasion for you!! I am thrilled to be your photographer and can’t wait for December!!
