The sounds of my boys playing in the morning always bring a smile to my face! My week 6 assignment for This is Our Life P52 was “good morning”.  There are so many things can determine whether we are having a good morning or not.  Jacob doesn’t always wake up on the right side of the bed, but when he does he is the sweetest thing.  I love when Jackson has a morning when from the second his feet hit the floor he is already telling me all of the fun things he is going to do that day.  I love mornings when my husband is home to share a cup of coffee and can even stick around for breakfast.  I love mornings when we aren’t rushed and everyone gets out of the door in one piece and no melt downs!! Granted I don’t live in a perfect world and the mornings I love don’t always happen, but when they do I try very hard to be present in them and be grateful for the smiles and happy attitudes!! Now, it’s a known fact in our house that Mama likes quiet in the morning…very little light, no loud TVs, no loud playing or noisy toys until I have downed at least one cup of coffee. But I am always willing to make an exception when the boys are playing (nicely!) with each other.  The laughter and giggling brings on the biggest smiles.  I was able to capture such a moment this week and it totally made for a good morning.  I’m also throwing in one of Jacob.  I love his quietness in the morning…how he sits and very sssslllooowwwlllyyy eats his cereal while glued to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
