Jenn and Maddy’s engagement session will probably go down as one of my favorites! Not only are they a super nice and awesome couple, but they’re also my friends – which makes it that much sweeter!! We met up at the Norfolk Botanical Garden for their engagement session, which is also where they will be married this fall! We enjoyed a gorgeous evening walking around the gardens and getting caught on life.  


Let me just take minute and introduce you to Maddy and Jenn! These two lovelies met playing rugby in Norfolk.  Jenn admits to developing a big crush on Maddy, but the two decided to just be friends.  Fast forward two years later when Jenn returned from deployment (she’s a Naval Aviator!) and Maddy had moved to Oregon.  Maddy was back in VB visiting family, when very coincidentally these two matched on Tinder! Fate! So a date was planned, because why not! Needless to say they hit it off, but Maddy was returning to Oregon not long after.  So Jenn used her love of snowboarding as and excuse to see Maddy, and planned a trip to Oregon.  The two enjoyed the time together, and Jenn took Maddy to her first winery! Not long after that Maddy moved back to VB and the rest is history!

Jenn and Maddy were engaged on this very beach a few years ago!! With the help of family and friends, Jenn pulled off quite the surprise that left them both in tears! Afterwards, they popped bottles of champagne and celebrated with family and friends as the sun set. 

























Congratulations Jenn and Maddy!! I so loved spending and evening with you guys!! I seriously can’t wait to see you again this fall at Norfolk Botanical Garden! It’s going to be such a FUN celebration of two beautiful and amazing people!!
