When you’re celebrating a big moment in your life, take the time to enjoy every minute of it. Get dressed up, pop champagne, and hire a professional photographer to capture this time in your life when the whole world is waiting for you to make your move. Bailey’s Valdosta State University Graduation photo session was a celebration of her degree in nursing. She now is ready to say goodbye to college life and enter this new phase of her life where she’ll get to work in pediatric nursing.
Most of the graduates I work with are seniors in high school. Graduation photos are so exciting and if you want to help your graduate get the most out of their session, here are a few tips:
*Choose an outfit that makes you feel fantastic! The last thing you want your senior to be is worried about how they look in their outfit. Help them choose something that they feel comfortable in.
*Celebrate their interests. Whether it’s a sports uniform or a sorority sash, bring something that represents their interests.
*Pick a location that celebrates their school or their future school. If your grad is a senior in high school, a session that is local is fun or you can head to their soon to be college if it is local.
*Bring your cap and gown! That’s what it’s all about, right? Celebrate this major achievement for your student!
*Minted has some great ideas for your graduation session and also how you can incorporate that into a graduation announcement to pass out to family and friends.
Congratulations Bailey! I hope your career in nursing takes you so far.
