You guys know at this point how I feel about these trees. One of the benefits of living in Georgia is that I get an up close view of the oak trees dripping in Spanish moss and they were abundant at Molly and Steven’s Red Oak Farm wedding. They made for a pretty remarkable backdrop for their ceremony.

I also photographed this amazing Sawgrass Marriott Wedding where these trees grew on the property and this gorgeous engagement session at South Eden Plantation! I love when couples take advantage of the amazing nature at their venue and really let it show off and that was definitely the case for this Red Oak Farm wedding day.

Fun fact- I have known Molly since she was a little girl (and now I feel old). Her dad flew with my husband years ago when we were in California and now our paths have crossed again and I couldn’t feel luckier than to capture her wedding day. Molly and Steven are excited to start their new life together in Washington state! But this day, in Savannah, Georgia, they were surrounded by the people that mean the absolute most to them- their amazing family and friends- for the most perfect wedding day.

Molly did a first look with her dad and it was so sweet and is easily becoming one of my favorite traditions. She then shared a first look with Steven where they exchanged vows in these gorgeous leather his and hers books. It was a perfect touch for this intimate moment. And then you know I’m always a goner when sweet pups get involved! Their reception was beautiful with so many lights, tears of happiness, and dancing- so much dancing! These guests knew how to have a good time. The bride and groom then rode off in a really cool classic car to end their perfect night.
